Meet the I in I.S.O… Avi Mallin

Medicine is my career but photographing the natural world is my passion.  

I’ve always enjoyed playing around with cameras — experimenting with light, colors and shadows. And, it always has brought me joy to document the people, the places and the memories that mean so much. However, it was during the pandemic that I truly leaned into my hobby and realized my passion for outdoor photography.  

Throughout my photographic journey, I try to capture the natural light, possibly see things just a “little” bit differently, all the while … capture a unique moment in time. It is my love for the outdoor world that I strive to capture in every photograph. 

Thank you for allowing me to share this part of myself with you. I hope these pictures move you, and that while looking at my images, you are able to experience the joy that I had while capturing them.
