Meet the I in I.S.O… Avi Mallin

Medicine is my career but photographing the natural world is my passion.  

I’ve always enjoyed playing around with cameras — experimenting with light, colors and shadows. And, it always has brought me joy to document the people, the places and the memories that mean so much. However, it was during the pandemic that I truly leaned into my hobby and realized my passion for outdoor photography.  

Throughout my photographic journey, I try to capture the natural light of the outdoors, and possibly see things just a little bit differently, and hopefully capture that unique moment and translate it into a photo. It is my love for the outdoor world that I strive to capture in every photograph. 

Thank you for allowing me to share this part of myself with you. I hope that my photography scratches an itch for you, and that while looking at these images, you are able to experience even a little of the joy that I had while capturing them.
